Ivy Niu is an artist, illustrator and owner of Brisbane fashion brand IVY NIU. Niu hand draws and paints in house to create the iconic prints and artworks. Her brand focuses on illustrative shapes and bold colours to create a feeling of fun and play. IVY NIU is also known for their signature Tent Dress.
Anannasa
Anannasa, an Australian brand launched in 2013, is led by Sher a Malaysian designer with a portfolio spanning various countries across fashion and product merchandising.
The word Anannasa itself is the Hindi word for ‘pineapple’ showcasing her love for both the fruit and the Indian sub-continent, which often inspires both Sher and the work that she does.
Anannasa is known for their natural prints, trims and high quality fabrics creating garments that are meant to be long-lasting and integral additions to any wardrobe.
Dogstar
As one of Australia's premier online clothing boutiques, designer Masayo Yasuki’s mission is to build a legacy. A legacy that transcends fashion. Dogstar strives to design women's clothing that remains stylish for years to come, enabling their customers to lead the next fashion movement, both stylistically and sustainably. Defying the restrictions of 2-dimensional patternmaking, Joteo tempers a drive for innovation with a respect for traditionalism, using a combination of couture draping and savoir fare tailoring to create architectural forms that while familiar, are disconnected by an otherworldly elegance. With its own "Avant-Casual" flair, the house's silhouettes extend the boundary of the body with both protective and insulating connotations bridging the gap between couture and ready-to-wear with silhouettes that speaks both to the Joteo narrative and the wider world.
At current, the house operates in a small privatise capacity. While the house does offer small ready-to-wear ranges at our Winn Lane stockist, Practice Studio, its true pride lies in our made-to-measure and couture for which we are proud to say have found its way to many international locations and publications, a recent example being Seoul Fashion Week S/s 2020.
