Coconinya was Inspired by a passion for colour and influenced by travel to warm destinations throughout our world.The name itself represents a precious personal memory of Di Conti. About 20 years ago she was lucky enough to visit Coconino National forest in Arizona with a very dear American friend of hers.They both fell in love with the energy of this beautiful place and it’s unusual name. So much so that it became their pet name for each other!Conti's professional life has always been influenced by colour and creativity. She found her ‘place’ in the fashion world and after working alongside so many amazing and successful brands, her fashion agency Di Conti Agencies has celebrated 25 years in business.8 years ago Di reached the moment when she knew she was ready to launch her own brand.This was an emotive response to a hole in the market that had been created by a flood of cheap imports. Knowing her retailers so well she had a clear understanding of what they were missing and what they wanted.Always present and always making her smile, she decided to adapt Coconino to its feminine form and Coconinya was born.The name embodies everything Di visualised the brand to be. Feminine, with a touch of boho and wanderlust, pretty, accessible, flattering, comfortable but fun and just the right amount of sass whether your 16 or 60 plus!Coconinya celebrates women and continues to evolve and be loved by women of all ages throughout the world.
