Established 1994. d.i.g. has forged a reputation for creating classic gardens and interiors for a client base seeking a timeless and elegant aesthetic. Whether the brief involves a small city courtyard or apartment balcony, a large country garden or a stately home, the design approach remains grounded in this philosophy and is combined with a keen eye for the prevailing architecture and the clients lifestyle needs.
In landscape terms this translates to the use of a limited palette of plants, strong structure, mass planting, strong focal points, and the overall garden must look like it 'belongs'. The garden, irrespective of size, should nurture, protect and enclose, and be a tranquil and restful place which reflects as much of the clients personality as the designer's.

Dr Tarn McLean is an artist and designer holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Visual Art from the University of Southern Queensland.
Her work departs from a highly disciplined practice embedded in early to mid 20th Century Geometric Abstract painting to the design of space and architecture, including wall painting and public art as well as textile, wallpaper and accessory design.
Tarn exhibits regularly and customises bespoke wallpapers and fabrics for private clients as well as commercial and residential interiors.
